I always pack enough medication for the trip in a 7-day pill keeper, and then take more with me in a bottle that’s packed someplace other than where my pill keeper is packed. Generally, I carry the pill keeper in my purse and the extra in my carry-on. I do not pack medication in my checked luggage. This will help avoid a major crisis if a bag is lost with important medication in it.

(I try to stick with no more than 2 color themes on a trip.)
